　　Four (4) temporary, full-time cook positions available. Dates of need03/25/2024 - 11/30/2024. Positions available in the following locations:145 Jetport Boulevard, Portland, ME 04102 and 162 Main Street, Freeport,ME 04302.

　　Duties: Perform any combination of line cook food preparation tasks,including preparing, cutting, chopping, seasoning and cooking dishes,and set up and clean up stations. Requirements: No minimum education orexperience required. Schedule: Monday through Sunday (schedule varies).Shifts: 6am-12pm or 3pm-11pm (shift hours may vary). One day off perweek. Employer will offer at least (no less than) 36 hours per week.Pay: \$18.68/hr, OT varies at \$28.02/hr. Optional employee housingavailable at a rate of \$150 per week to be deducted from paycheck. Onthe job training provided. Workers paid bi-weekly. Single workweek usedto compute wages due. Employer will make all deductions from the workerspaycheck required by law and optional housing, if applicable.

　　Inbound/Outbound transportation & subsistence: If the worker completes50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the workerfor transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workeris dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workersreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home orto the place the worker originally departed to work, except where theworker will not return due to subsequent employment with anotheremployer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workersvoluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportationpayment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical andreasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistenceprovided at a rate of at least \$15.46 per day during travel to amaximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Daily transportation: Workersare responsible for their own daily transportation to and from theworksite.

　　Visa & related expenses: Workers will be reimbursed in the firstworkweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and otherrelated fees, including those mandated by the government (exceptpassport fees) by check separate from payroll. Tools: Employer willprovide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment requiredto perform the job. Guarantee: Employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period oftotal employment period.
