  Are you a culinary enthusiast looking for a fulfilling role that offers a great work-life balance? Look no further! We have an exciting opportunity for Cooks to join our team where you can showcase your cooking skills and be done with your shifts no later than 8:30 PM. We offer flexible scheduling options choose between a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday schedule. Typically hours: 11:30AM 8:00PM Sunday Thursday, 10:45AM 8:00PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Position Overview: As a key member of our Dining Services team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch production for meal plans, catering, and contracts. Your culinary expertise will shine as you prepare dishes using various cooking methods and industrial kitchen equipment. You'll also maintain food quality, adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, and deliver exceptional customer service to our guests. If you enjoy a collaborative environment and take pride in your cooking, you'll fit right in. Responsibilities: Utilize your culinary prowess to prepare and cook food using techniques such as baking, frying, grilling, and more. Maintain adequate food levels during service periods to ensure a seamless dining experience. Uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. Interact with guests to provide a friendly and positive dining experience. Supervise and provide guidance to cook helpers and assistant cooks. Keep work areas and equipment clean and well-maintained. Accurately record production details for future reference. Requirements: Previous experience in cooking for large quantities. High school diploma or GED. Familiarity with kitchen and production equipment. Possession of a ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate.
