Job Description:

　　Under supervision, prepares and cooks food.

　　Scope1.Reviews menus daily to determine quantities of food and supplies needed.

　　2. Prepares food for cafeteria, patient food service and catering using creativity, quality, consistency, and promptness.

　　3. Follow and comply with recipe standards.

　　4. Monitors and replenishes food as needed for cafeteria, catering, or patient trays.

　　5. Ensures food is being handled and stored to Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.

　　6. Operates various types of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness. Records temperatures of refrigerators. Ensures equipment is in good working condition.

　　7. Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Healthcare, and abides by service behavior standards.

　　8. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsPreferred

　　High school diploma or equivalent is preferredOne (1) year food service experience in a healthcare facility, such as health care food service is preferred Minimum 6 months experience in food preparation, preferably in a healthcare setting is preferredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements list must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
