This includes understanding a scopeof work, uncovering RFQ questions, project clarifications and providingstructured, detailed estimates. Application Specialists must be able toquickly analyze, compare and interpret detailed RFQ\'s and be able tomake accurate judgements based on such information. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Conceptualize, create, and price standard ETOsolutions and proposals, including CAD drawings Provide customers,distributors and RM\'s with application assistance and guidance Conductproduct testing to confirm application solutions Knowledge of metalfabrication, welding, machining processes and costing Provideengineering with detailed scope of work Experience in scheduling,planning, and interfacing with manufacturing Knowledge, Skills,Competencies, and Abilities: Knowledgeable on reading engineeringdrawings A team player with excellent written and verbal communicationskills. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of metal fabrication,welding, machining processes and costing Ability to think abstractly todeal with ambiguous/undefined problems Strong organizational skills withattention to detail. Knowledge of automation and/or conveyance Strongknowledge of automation and/or conveyance Displays product knowledgethrough experiential hands-on training.
