As a Controls Execution Lead in the Data & Analytics team, you will be working to plan, manage, and execute risk and control items. This includes product controls, records management, action plans, material risks, controls testing, exams, etc. You will be required to partner with various stakeholders including Product and Technology team members, Controls team members, and other firm-wide team members to execute the risk & controls agenda.
Job responsibilities
Coordination with key stakeholders - including D&A team members (product, technology, design, data owners), LRCC team members, and other stakeholders to:
Keep track of and help execute existing risk & controls efforts
Understand new risk & controls initiatives, determine scope, create plans, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
Manage and execute the plans: create a roadmap, escalate issues and potential options, manage dependencies, report status, etc.
Help the team get ready for internal and external reviews and exams
Obtain and maintain relevant artefacts (sign-offs, decisions, etc.) and program documentation
Report on program status to senior management stakeholders - facilitate development, maintenance and delivery of consistent and meaningful reporting and metrics
Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure a no surprises environment
Help the D&A team understand new and evolving risk & controls landscape and the corresponding requirements
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
6+ years of experience planning and leading execution of programs
Solid knowledge of risk & controls environment - product controls, records management, action plans, material risks, controls testing, exams, etc.
Strong program management and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to deliver quality results in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to reach across the firm to engage appropriate stakeholders, set agendas, lead calls with senior management and drive actions to meet program objectives
Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with strong documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and drive results in a matrixed organization
Strong sense of ownership and a passion for the delivery of high-quality project outcomes; Excellent interpersonal skills - verbal communications, written communications, and track record of collaboration
Ability to work on multiple work efforts concurrently; articulate risks and mitigation options in a succinct manner
