Description: Controls Engineer

　　The Controls Engineer's scope of work will be centered on a Transmission Gear Program and responsibilities are as followed:

　　Validating program capabilities with Siemens PLCs and CNC motion controls systems

　　Commissioning new equipment

　　Programming/troubleshooting electrical issues

　　Actively participating in safety sign-offs

　　Verify equipment capabilities

　　Coordinate with cross functioning engineering teams to conduct meetings with Tier I suppliers

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　B.S in Electrical Engineering or relative field

　　Extensive software programming experience - Siemens based preferred

　　Knowledge of international electrical/safety standards (UL, ISO, IEC etc) and familiarity with internal/external safety processes (risk assessments, PSS, coordinated safety etc.)

　　Familiarity with program delivery elements from the cost study phase to launch
