Description:

　　SCOPE:

　　Candidate will be working on a project for Cummins related to their engine powertrain line. They will be working in the local office as they are still doing the equipment work on the floor before it gets shipped to the Cummins location in Indiana. Candidate will be working within Allen Bradley PLC's to program, troubleshoot, debug on the equipment. They will be a lead on this project and they will have junior controls engineers that they will oversee to ensure that the work is being done properly.

　　Candidate will be working on the project from concept to installation with the plan to follow the installation to Columbus, Indiana Cummins plant mid-late next year.

　　HOURS:

　　40-45 hours in the office

　　could ramp up to 50-55 when on-site at customer

　　TRAVEL:

　　30% primarily to Columbus, Indiana Cummins plant

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　-Controls experience (Candidate must understand how to troubleshoot, debug, program within Allen Bradley. They will need to understand how to program from scratch as they will be a lead on this project)

　　-Allen Bradley PLC experience (Being able to program from scratch, troubleshoot, debug within PLC.)

　　-Communication (Candidate will be overseeing junior controls engineers on this project and will need to be able to work with them from a technical standpoint)

　　-Manufacturing Experience (candidate must have experience working in a plant/manufacturing setting on equipment)

　　-Automation experience (candidate must have prior experience working on ideally powertrain equipment or working with general assembly)
