Description Robert Half has a fantastic, career-building opportunity for a skilled Controller who has previous cost accounting and manufacturing experience. This is an exciting opportunity in which you will be managing the accounting team while simultaneously supporting a large process and system integration project across their entities. This is a long-term project that is estimated to continue for six months to a year, and will be hybrid, two days a week in office.

　　Your responsibilities

　　-Manage an accounting team of five

　　-Work closely with the CFO to standardize processes, and integrate the entities to their ERP system

　　Acquire a thorough understanding of key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners

　　Analyze and observe controls to ensure they are effectively designed and operating in partnership with compliance

　　Become well-versed in key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners

　　Engage with various business partners for various program controllership and FP& A activities like maintaining accuracy of accrual models, appropriate accounting, and participating in true-up activities. Also answer queries from business, area and subsidiary controllers Requirements - 10+ years detail oriented accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance

　　Proven communication and negotiation skills, ability to establish trusted advisor/consultant relationships, and capability to influence Executives and Business Decision Makers

　　Capacity to assess process and internal control weaknesses and identify improvements

　　Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field

　　CPA and/or CMA preferred

　　Exquisite understanding in office and accounting computer systems

　　Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

　　Continuous Process Improvement experience preferred

　　Skills in Manufacturing Cost Accounting

　　Earlier work involving standard costs

　　Proven knowledge of Process Improvement Initiatives

　　Well-founded grasp of Process Improvement Projects

　　Previous experience working with Manufacturing Costs

　　Good understanding of cost accounting

　　General familiarity with project management process improvement

　　Command of Support system integration

　　Practical knowledge of Business process improvement

　　Process Improvement experience highly desired

　　Deep understanding of Business process improvement

　　Quality experience with change management

　　Wide ranging experience with processing costing

　　Solid understanding of System Integration

　　Proven ability to provide leadership across finance team by engaging with different groups around the world via virtual communication

　　Working knowledge of ERP systems
