POSITION DESCRIPTION The Controller is responsiblefor the oversight of the corporate Accounting and Payroll departmentsand the output from these departments. This oversight includes month-endclosing activities, the annual budget, the costing model, metrics,analysis of financial information, payroll transactions, and assurancethat transactions are accurately recorded. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESManagement and development of Accounting and Payroll department staffTimely production of the monthly financial statements in accordance withGAAP Issuance and analysis of monthly manufacturing metrics Collaboratewith the company\'s public accounting firm to ensure compliance withaccounting standards and regulations Manage proper system of internalcontrols Manage and produce the annual corporate budget Assist increating the annual workcenter costing model Work with employees acrossthe company to assist with improvements in process flows and ERPutilization Manage the annual financial audit Support the CFO with riskmanagement, insurance, and workers comp Assist the CFO in oversight ofthe financial aspects of the annual physical inventory count Assist theCFO with banking relationships as needed Support Human Resources andoutside consultants related to the 401K, ESOP, and other benefitrequirements Ensure compliance with necessary corporate filings such assales and use tax, property taxes, censuses, etc. Document accountingprocedures and maintain controlled documents Assist the CFO with otherspecial projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor\'s degree in Accounting required, CPA strongly preferred Publicaccounting/audit experience preferred 8-10 years of previous accountingexperience; manufacturing experience preferred 3-5 years ofmanagement...
