The permanent Controller position is situated in the San Antonio, Texas area. This role's duties will require planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. This role's duties will require effectively managing self and others within strict time constraints when providing client services, leading while also being a team player, generating innovative ideas, and challenging the status quo. 　　Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation

　　Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

　　Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts

　　Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation

　　Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management

　　Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

　　Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

　　Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports

　　Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Meet client expectations by reviewing deliverables of self and team to make sure they meet client satisfaction

　　Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques Requirements - CPA/MBA preferred

　　BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

　　Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

　　People Management experience

　　Proficiency in CPA

　　People Management experience

　　Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

　　Prior work in technology, analytics and management experience desired

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

　　Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

　　Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

　　Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
