Description Controller – Hands on!

Another very well-established, growing, and financial stable small Construction company is adding a new Controller role due to company growth. The work has been getting done by a full charge Bookkeeper who is retiring and the external CPA firm. With the recent growth the company is more then ready for a true hands-on Controller.
Core responsibilities include daily and monthly accounting with a staff of 3, hands on responsibility for all aspects of job costing, assist external CPA with identifying tax planning opportunities month end close, financial reporting and strategic planning.
Minimum requirements include a BS in Accounting, at least 2 years as a Controller, at least 2+ years Job Costing experience in Construction or Manufacturing, very hands-on and yet can be strategic i with recommendations and financial analysis.
Base salary range to $125,000 plus bonus.
