Description Robert Half has a vacant role for a Contracts Manager with a client in the detail oriented Services field. This will be an outstanding and productive role under the general counsel. The Contracts Manager will look after vendor and subcontracts agreement, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts as needed. Individuals should want to utilize their skills proficiency in an electric environment. This short-term contract / contract employment opportunity is based in the Chicago, Illinois area. experience in candidates should apply as soon as possible!
What you get to do every day
Support contract administration functions with the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments
Intermediate and outsource contracts
Improve and manage contract repositories
Coordinate contractual provisions and administer contract proposals
Own and maintain contracts database
Prevail over the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)
Look after internal and external requests on status of contracts
Direct and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)
Examine external clients' contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance, and red-line documents as required for compliance
Manage and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable
Provide a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Special organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines
Solid understanding of Commercial Contracts
Command of negotiation
Deep understanding of Contract Negotiations
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed
Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent
Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systemsTrained in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrate skills in reviewing and drafting non-disclosure agreements, especially software evaluation and licensing agreements
Proficient with strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers
