Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the Greater New London Connecticut area. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating multiple proposals and contracts while interacting with various business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Execute contract negotiations and ensure post-award contract compliance

• Develop cost reimbursement contract price proposals in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DFAR

• Assist in the generation of proposals and management of contracts

• Collaborate with Contract Administration, Legal, Accounting, and Billing departments for efficient contract management

• Oversee subcontracting processes and manage subcontractors effectively

• Ensure adherence to government contracts and bid proposal guidelines

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and proposals.

Requirements • Proficiency in DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement)

• Comprehensive understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

• Experience in preparing and managing Bid Proposals

• Familiarity with Government Contracts and their nuances

• Demonstrable expertise in ensuring Contract Compliance
