Overview
GovCIO is seeking a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Coordinator. This position will be in San Antonio, TX and will be a flexible/hybrid position.
Responsibilities
The CPI Coordinator will lead and execute a CPI practice where innovation enhances the user experience and creates a more modernized, efficient, effective, and responsive IT service delivery end state. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review, analyze, prioritize, and make recommendations on improvement opportunities in each lifecycle stage: service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation and CPI itself.
Identify and implement specific activities to improve IT service quality and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the enabling processes.
Improve cost effectiveness of delivering IT services without sacrificing client satisfaction.
Ensure applicable quality management methods are used to support continuous improvement activities.
Ensure that processes have clearly defined objectives and measurements that lead to actionable improvements.
Create and track metrics to assess the performance of the program.
Analyze existing processes, procedures, and methods, and promote effective Program operations through standardization, improvement, simplification and discontinuance.
Establish and maintain strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders ensuring that the service requirements of the Program are understood and are incorporated into a framework of continuous improvement.
Promote best practices by establishing a CPI network across the Program.
Establish and conduct regular process audits as defined under the Program.
Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to clearly document and explain CPI processes
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Qualifications
High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance Required: TS/SCIRequired Skills and Experience:
Quality improvement certification, such as Lean Six Sigma, ITIL Continued Service Improvement (CSI), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), etc
Experience supporting IT Programs
Familiar with and able to implement Agile development best practices
Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks
Experience with DoD Policies and Procedures
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Relationship management skills with stakeholders, colleagues and users in pursuit of delivering high quality services whilst maintaining service targets
Ability to prepare and present oral and written reports, presentations, recommendations and perform necessary research, or investigations
Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities and the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
A solid understanding of change management. Use influence, oversight and direction in the provision of changes that have a bearing on the environment
ITIL® v4 Foundation, or higher, certification
Experience with ServiceNow ITBM & ITSM

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range
USD $105,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
