Sportsman Boats  is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer  who will execute CI (Continuous Improvement) activities and events at the production level. This person will work alongside the CI team and is responsible for improving the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes, efficiency, reducing cost, and increasing yield.

　　What you will do:

　　Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.

　　Develop appropriate continuous improvement strategies.

　　Work with cross-departmental teams and individuals to implement continuous improvement events and address manufacturing issues.

　　Assist and sustain 5S standards company-wide.

　　Train employees in both utilizing standard work, and how to create standard work on their own.

　　Facilitate continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizen.

　　Be able to work in variable temperatures including significantly hot and cold.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　To be considered you must have:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Associate's Degree in Engineering with equivalent experience

　　3 + years in continuous improvement

　　Experience with basic hand tools

　　Experience in marine or automotive industries

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team

　　Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision

　　Advanced verbal communication skills

　　Advanced time management and organizational skills

　　Lean Manufacturing Tools and manufacturing experience

　　Ability to work with plant management, maintenance, associates, and many different cross-functional teams to develop appropriate continuous improvement strategies.
