About Content Risk Management Program Analyst, Trust and Safety

  Minimum qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, intel, audit, business operations, or equivalent risk related roles.

  Experience in program or project management.

  Preferred qualifications: Experience with data visualization, business intelligence or global risk and compliance tools.

  Technical writing expertise, ideally correlated with regulatory compliance, risk domain, or similar.

  Practical technical risk management expertise including risk analytics, risk modeling, risk and control assessments, incident monitoring, and scenario analysis.

  Excellent relationship management and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive collaboration and influence cross-functionally and with executive-level leadership.

  Excellent attention to detail, analytic capacity, and experience operationalizing or developing systematic structure within a complex environment.

  Excellent project/program management capabilities, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to challenge.

  Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what's right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.

  As a Risk Analyst you will be part of the team responsible for proving compliance with existing and emerging content regulations. In this role, you will lead our risk and compliance capability development and maturation, developing horizontal programmatic risk capabilities, and driving the progression of a 'risk by design' culture. You will be responsible for building frameworks, processes and systems that will enable risk-based decision making and deliver defensible risk and compliance at Google scale. You will stay informed about the dynamic regulatory landscape, industry trends, and internal operations and communicate solution based recommendations to executives and drive innovative solutions.

A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google's products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

  The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$149,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   Responsibilities

  Design and implement a systemic risk program including governance and oversight practices and development of a Scenario Analysis framework and methodology.

  Lead scenario analysis across global products and functions to quantify risk exposures.

  Lead efforts to set and develop standards for risk identification and classification, measurement and modeling, risk appetite and treatment strategies, and operationalize risk processes.

  Drive collaboration and alignment of risk initiatives with a broad range of Google-wide cross-functional risk partner teams to influence and scale risk practices (e.g., Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Product Areas).

  Establish a leadership presence with a global mindset and influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
