About Consumer and Market Research Manager

  The Consumer and Market Research Manager is a brand new position created at HARIBO of America continues to grow in 2024!  This role is responsible for combining analytics and consumer insights to directly influence business strategy, product design, go to market strategy, and many other key business priorities. The Consumer and Market Research Manager will use curiosity and data to discover what consumers want, why they want it, and how we can influence them the development and implementation of strong consumer research.

  Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois, the Consumer and Market Research Manager is an individual contributor role and will be accountable for delivering clear strategies and business recommendations based on a clear understanding of the consumer.

  Responsibilities:

  Lead the development and execution of our consumer learning plans based on business prioritiesResearch and understand shopper insights that lead to breakthrough communication in-store

  Manager the market research budget, allocating resources for high-impact research initiatives

  Lead insight development that drives innovation pipeline and brand communication

  Turn shopper/consumer insights into strategies that drive actions across the business

  Qualifications:

  6+ years of progressive work experience in consumer research

  Experience in the Consumer Goods and/or retail industry

  Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  Demonstrated experience in turning research and understanding into recommendations and next steps

  Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  IRI and/or Neilsen scanner data reporting analysis experience

  Experience working with consumer research tools and techniques

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills

  Experience anticipating future business opportunities or problems and developing strategies that address them proactively

  Detail orientated, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to be equal parts strategic and tactical
