Description

　　The Maritime System Solutions (MSS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Solutions Architect working out of our Poulsbo, WA office. This position would be responsible for providing technical leadership in the delivery of innovative products, solutions and services that support our work in the maritime space including providing engineering and technical support services for submarine and surface ship signature trials, assessment of current measurement systems and procedures and supporting the improvement thereof. This opportunity offers the ability to use technical knowledge to resolve highly complex problems and develop innovative solutions that meet customer identified requirements.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　The candidate will be responsible for the support of customer identified projects and requirements in relation to tasks within the Maritime Systems Solutions Portfolio. They will assist in identification of requirements, recommendation of resolutions and implementation of installation/test plans. They will have direct contact with the leadership (both customer and internal), internal teams and subcontractors and will need to communicate effectively.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelors’ Degree with 12-15 years of prior relevant experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)

　　Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance

　　Knowledge of undersea acoustic testing, submarine sonar systems and machine monitoring

　　Experience with in-water equipment deployment and retrieval

　　Good verbal and written communication skills

　　Ability to multi-task and respond fluidly to changing requirements
