About Construction Laborer

  Employee Value Proposition (EVP)

  Potential to be making over $20/hour after first year with the company

  • After individuals are hired as an employee and work 180 days as an employee, they get $150 safety boot reimbursement

  • After individuals are hired as an employee and work 180 days as an employee they get $150 for warm outdoor gear

  • Great health plan with Medical Mutual – PPO plan with low $400/$800 deductible, $10 office visit, 80/20 coverage, $3000/$6000 max out of pocket, $5/$10 generic drug copay, and low/competitive employee premium contributions

  • Great 401k plan where we contribute the equivalent of 3% of wages into their 401k weekly regardless of whether they contribute or not and it’s vested 100% immediately. If they do contribute, we have an annual match of 25% of up to 6% deferrals vested in 25% steps over 5 years

  • After individuals are hired as an employee and work 180 days as an employee, they’re eligible for 9 regular paid holidays including the days before and day of both X-mas and Thanksgiving. Also, in the calendar following them reaching 180 days worked as an employee they gain an additional 3 paid roving holidays.

  Description:

  $19/hour to start

  Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays

  7:00am

  8-12 hour days (40-45 hours a week in cold months, 45-55 hours a week in warm months)

  *only must have: outdoor work experience*

  • preforming concrete laborer duties at a stationary construction site that produces Precast concrete wall panels for stadiums, airports, large retail buildings, and other commercial projects

  • making rough cuts on lumber to build forms using power tools

  • using hand tools during pours

  • may be working outside in the loading area, helping to patch up concrete walls, and load onto flatbed trailers

  • working in an outdoor environment, it is hot in the summer and very cold through the winter

  • consistent hours per week, even through the winter months we will not do any seasonal layoffs

  • working with carpenters, and pre-cast team leads to set forms for concrete walls to be poured

  • tying rebar in the forms to give the concrete a structure

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  -Must have experience working outside whether it is landscape, farming, construction, etc.

  -Must be familiar with hand and power tools, tape measure, and performing physical labor

  -Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts
