Local Geotechnical Firm is looking for a Construction Estimator to join their Savannah, GA team. Job duties and preferred job qualifications are listed below. If you are interested and may not check all of the boxes, you are still encouraged to apply, there may be another opportunity for you.

　　Job Duties:

　　Draft proposals and fee estimates for standard or routine projects.

　　Perform project registration and invoicing tasks

　　Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating prices

　　Develop accurate and complete job estimates.

　　Read blueprints and project schematics

　　Utilize Bluebeam and other takeoff/bidding software

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred

　　Years of experience and knowledge are what matter, no degree is necessary

　　Strong understanding of civil construction and estimating

　　2-3 years of experience as an estimator (knowledge and experience is what matters)

　　Experience with Bluebeam or any takeoff/bidding software Civil and Construction Blueprints

　　Experience writing proposals
