We are consideringcandidates who meet the following basic qualifications: Bachelor\'sdegree in Civil Engineering. EIT certification preferred. Relatableinternship experience in construction and designing transportationand/or municipal projects. Work experience in WisDOT construction anddesigning transportation and/or municipal projects preferred. HighwayTechnician Certifications preferred. Experience with Civil 3D softwaredesired Essential job duties may include: Construction inspection ofWisDOT, county and municipal projects. Assist in the field inspectionsof roadway and utility construction including sewer system, asphalt andconcrete roadways. Perform and review material testing of concrete,asphalt and aggregates. Complete daily construction reports, manually orelectronically. Prepare As-Built drawings. Design of highway and sitedevelopment improvements, including roadways, site grading, stormdrainage, water main distribution systems, sanitary sewer collectionsystems, and other site utilities. Preparation of local, state andfederal permit applications. Assist in the preparation of design plans,specifications and quantities. Other duties as assigned.
