Construction Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:
The APM will be overseeing 3/4 concrete projects. Total Monetary Clients include , AOC, Airports, and Mount Vernon.
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager and Project Superintendent with daily jobsite functions including
Request for Information (RFI) and submittal processing.
Daily reports, material procurement and delivery tracking.
Monitoring project safety requirements.
Proactively prepare project documents for close-out, turnover, and archiving to allow efficient final compilation and delivery on schedule, as well as secure all necessary contractually required documents, including safety programs, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) documents for all required chemicals and materials used on the project, and quality control plans.
Plan, communicate, and process close-out documents of all subcontracts as work concludes.
Assist the Project Manager with identifying necessary inspections and create project-specific inspection logs accordingly.
Update contract drawings to reflect all approved changes and ensure trade contractor documents update.
Organize and prioritize submittal requirements specified in contract documents and review for completeness.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Have the ability to interact with and develop effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including internal and external customers, in different situations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to plan, schedule, and organize tasks while completing work within established deadlines
Must have excellent written and oral skills
Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook
