Salary Range
$32.74 - $45.31 Hourly$2,619.23 - $3,624.92 Biweekly$68,100.00 - $94,248.00 Annually
Duties
Consolidated Veteran Service Representatives (CVSR) are specialists in veteranemployment issues, conduct analysis, and provide input to the administrationbefore setting program direction and policy. They also coordinate with theBusiness Services Division of their Workforce centers and other serviceproviders to promote the benefits of hiring veterans and conduct outreachprograms for employers. CVSRs provide intensive services (individual Careerservices) to eligible veterans and other eligible persons, assisting them infinding suitable employment.
CVSR staff are a highly experienced and knowledgeable group of employmentexperts who specialize in researching and analyzing various employment trendsand opportunities. They use this knowledge to set program direction andpolicy, which helps to ensure that all veterans and other eligible personshave access to the best possible employment services.
CVSR staff works closely with employers to promote their outreach efforts andto provide them with valuable information about the benefits of hiringveterans. They offer intensive services to veterans and other eligiblepersons, such as job coaching, job training, and job placement assistance,which helps them to transition into the civilian workforce successfully.
Substitutions
Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirementon a year-for-year basis.Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experienceon a year-for-year basis.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study relatedto the work assignment.ANDTwo years of professional experience in an occupational field related to thework assigned to the position and must be a veteran with a VeteranAdministration Service-Connected Disability Rating. Your experience must beclearly documented on the application.
