This is a professional position in the Land ConservationDepartment established primarily for coordinating Stormwater management,administering Non-Metallic Mining Ordinance, and assistingadministration of the Erosion Control Ordinance. La Crosse County Respects Diversity***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from anaccredited college or university with a Bachelor\'s degree in physicalor natural science, engineering, agriculture, water resourcesmanagement, agronomy, or other related fields with knowledge ofhydrology chemistry, biology and soils Preference for individuals withcomputer experience using HydroCAD, Winslamm, or other Stormwatermodeling. Requires three years\' experience in urban construction siteerosion control and storm water management. There is an expectation thatthe person in this role either already possess Stormwater InspectorCertification and DSPS Uniform Dwelling Code Erosion InspectorCertification or strive to obtain them within the first year ofemployment.
