Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force's 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ's and three Dassault Falcon 7X's Business Jets.
Your Role:
Join our dynamic Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) team, supporting the Royal Australian Air Force's 86 Wing; 34 Squadron. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and compliant implementation of Configuration and Data Management for the SPA TLS Program. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining configuration baselines, conducting physical and functional audits, supporting aircraft e-enabling and connectivity and driving continuous improvement.
Your contribution will directly impact airworthiness, safety, and mission success, making you a key player in the success of the SPA Program.
About You
We are seeking a candidate who brings a strong background in aircraft maintenance, combining in-depth knowledge of essential aircraft documents like IPC, AMM, and CMM, with a high degree of computer literacy. This individual should not only excel in written and verbal communication but also be adept at managing their time efficiently, seamlessly juggling multiple projects while keeping departmental priorities in check.
Ideally, you will be a quick learner, comfortable with rapidly mastering new technologies with minimal oversight. Further, you will demonstrate a blend of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, engaging in successful negotiations with stakeholders. Decision-making prowess and a proactive stance in initiating action are highly valued. While having knowledge of aircraft components is an asset, it is not a strict necessity for this position.
