　　The Role

　　The Conference and Events Sales Executive is responsible for liaising with clients to book all reactive sales, catering and group business in the hotel, with a view to minimising response times and increasing overall efficiency of the booking process. To actively manage client service by setting performance standards for guest service and ensuring that each event is handled professionally and in the clients and Hotel’s best interest.

　　CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Provide timely, professional quotations on group, catering and sales business from all enquiries

　　Host client famils and attend networking events representing the hotel

　　Cross sell and upsell all hotel facilities and services and sister properties

　　Conduct efficient event planning through to conclusion, as required

　　Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing

　　Serve as the point of contact for clients

　　KEY ATTRIBUTES

　　Previous experience in a similar role in a 5 star hotel environment

　　Excellent communication skills and a drive for hotel sales

　　Ability to develop relationships with clients, suppliers and other Associates within the hotel

　　High level of attention to detail, and time management

　　Positive demeanor, excellent personal presentation and takes initiative
