This position may include travel throughout the state on evenings and overnight to facilitate training events (between three- six nights a month). Responsibilities during trainings include assisting instructors, coordinating registration, and facilitating and managing the training. Administrative duties include producing preliminary budgets for trainings, preparing, and maintaining documents for each training event and preparing/processing invoices and payments. This person will correspond with facilities, confirm instructors, and prepare materials for events as well as provide general office assistance. While working remotely, this position is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of webinars, this means working with instructors, taking attendance, and working with the Training Program Manager to update material for online web-based courses. This position will also be required to maintain quality customer service as well as market the Technology Transfer Program.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThis position requires exceptional skills with Microsoft Office, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Must be able to multi-task, ability to pay close attention to details such as financial record keeping and follow established procedures. Need to communicate well both verbally and written with good presentation skills and provide quality customer service.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree with experience in event planning, project planning, administrative office work including but not limited to producing preliminary budgets, maintaining records for each training event, and assisting with customer service requests.
