  TEMPORARY POSITIONSummer Internship Position will begin June 1, 2024 and end August 9, 2024 (40 hours per week).PLEASE NOTE:Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation. Assists staff with implementation of programs and contracts and other assigned duties. Potential for off-site training depending on divisional needs. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Work Hours40 hours a week between the hours of 7 a.m. 6 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours. Hours may change based on business needs.Teleworking may be considered if certain working conditions are met. Applicant will be required to work in office up to 3 days/week, days may vary. The applicant may need to report to the office with little notice, as business necessitates. Travel reimbursements are not provided for teleworking.Qualifications: Minimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate within one year.Professional or academic experience in research, planning, data analysis, or policy development.Preferred QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate within one year with major in business administration, public administration, energy management, energy resources, sustainable energy or related field.Be in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA). Must submit transcripts.1 year of professional experience in research, planning, data analysis, or policy development.Professional experience in the energy sector.In this role you will:Assists in reviewing reimbursement request for multiple contracts.Assists in the compilation of previous contract performance metrics and develops concise and reusable outcome templates.Assists in the development and implementation of internal grant management software trainingAssists in preparing mandatory administrative, state required, and federal reporting.Attends Contract Manager meeting with public and private agencies, local governments, and public schools.Performs related work as assigned.Veterans:To receive veterans preference a copy of your DD214 (Member 4) is required.Veterans, Reservist or Guardsmen with an MOS or additional duties that fall within the essential duties of the job position or other related fields pertaining to the minimum experience requirements may meet th minimum qualifications.
