[Typical Allocation of Duties
Provide guidance - 20%Conduct investigations, audits, and/or research to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and/or accreditation-related guidelines.
Advocate - 20%Advocate for the achievement and documentation of institutional best practices in compliance-related subject matter areas.
Develop policies and procedures - 20%Assist in the development of institutional policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Collaborate with others - 20%Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to help ensure institutional compliance.
Prepare reports - 20%Prepare a variety of regular and special reports documenting university compliance.

Responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring of all policies and procedures relative to a comprehensive compliance program which includes, but not limited to: recruiting, eligibility, financial aid, playing and practice seasons, amateurism, extra benefits, and name/image/likeness (NLI).Maintains student-athlete information in various NCAA and institutional databases.Develop a comprehensive education program to ensure that all coaches, athletic staff, student-athletes, key university personnel, external constituents (donors/boosters), and other necessary individuals have appropriate knowledge of applicable NCAA/GSC rules and regulations.Serves as the institutional representative at NCAA meetings concerning institutional compliance including the NCAA Convention, the NCAA Regional Rules Seminars, and the GSC meetings concerning institutional compliance.Annually coordinate registration of coaches and monitor completion of NCAA bylaw 11.6 coaches certification requirement.
