  Conrad New York Midtown & New York Hilton Midtown (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/nycnhhh-new-york-hilton-midtown/?SEO\_id=GMB-AMER-HI-NYCNHHH&y\_source=1\_NzIxNzU0LTcxNS1sb2NhdGlvbi53ZWJzaXRl) are looking for a Complex Director of Revenue Performance to lead the on-property execution!

  Both properties are set in Midtown Manhattan. New York Hilton Midtown offers a contemporary convention hotel, just 2 minutes from The Museum of Modern Art and a 10-minute walk from Times Square. The recently renovated Conrad New York Midtown showcases an urban luxury hotel with 500 rooms, 6,000 square feet of banquet space, and 2 food and beverage outlets. 2,440 keys between the two properties, along with 150,000 square feet of desired meeting space.

  What will I be doing?

  Responsibility for increasing hotel revenue and growing the Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) Index (market share) for each hotel, Conrad New York Midtown and New York Hilton Midtown.

  Takes the lead in building positive relationships with hotel teams, regional teams, revenue, and marketing partners. Works to understand and align what is best for the hotel with what is most important to the senior leadership teams.Executes the appropriate total hotel revenue strategy established by the Commercial Leader and Director of Revenue for both hotels. Collaborates and works across teams to execute strategy for all revenue streams including, but not limited to rooms pricing, F&B strategy, group, catering & events strategy, marketing strategy.Actively communicates hotel revenue strategy with internal hotel stakeholders to ensure alignment.The goal of this role is to improve the hotel revenue and grow RevPAR Index for each both hotel’s portfolio of properties depending on the complexity of the market and services provided. Focus on top line revenue generation areas, maintaining group and transient inventory controls, developing, monitoring, and adjusting sales and pricing strategies, analyzing demand factors, forecasting, competitive analysis, participating in key marketing initiatives, and maintaining distribution data integrity. Key hotel team members with whom the Complex Revenue Management Performance Director interacts with not only the General Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Finance, and Director of Front Office. Other key revenue management partners may include Revenue Management team members, Sales team members, Marketing team members and other Commercial Services team members.

  More specifically, you will:

  Use tools and reporting available to identify opportunities to improve hotel revenue performance and group RevPAR index. Take appropriate action by employing necessary tactics to achieve said performance. Lead and maintain group and transient inventory controls including, but not limited to, room accommodation and rate inventory controls, roll-in controls, group inventory and cut-off dates, implementation of blackout dates, maintaining demand information, and leading sellout strategies in partnership with the Front Office.Partner with Front Office, Sales and Marketing, and Reservations to improve inventory, sales, and profitability. Actively communicate overall strategy direction to the leadership team to the hotels.Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies.Conduct competitive and demand analyses and provide critical analysis of chosen strategies, room statistics, and general demand factors to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability.Works in partnership with Hotel Executive teams and regional teams to tailor support to the commercial needs of the businessConduct forecasting, review all competitive shops, review demand, convention, and city event calendars, maintain data on competitor products and maintain historical data on events and performance.What we are looking for:

  To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  High School diploma/GEDFive (5) years of shown experience leading Revenue Management in full-service and/or luxury hotels, with Group knowledge in forecasting, pricing, and displacementsStrong commercial strategy mindset, with experience in cross-team collaborationDeep understanding of industry analytical reports including but not limited to STAR and Travelclick reportsExperience communicating effectively and directly with senior leadership and ownership groupsExperience successfully analyzing and explaining statistical data to develop strategies and generate a course of actionExperience handling Hotel Rates and InventoryExperience forecasting Hotel revenue weekly and monthlyStrong project and time management skills, as well as interpersonal skillsProficient in Revenue Management systems, hotel property management systems, and industry-related reportsIt would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics OR seven (7) years or more of Analytical experience within Revenue Management, Data Management, Reservations, or Front Office Operations fieldMA/MS/MBA Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics OR four (4) years or more of Hotel experience at a Manager or higher level with financial control experienceExperience with Hilton’s Corporation's Revenue Management systemsMultiple hotel Revenue Management experienceCross-functional experience in hotel Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, and eCommerceMultiple brand experienceWhat are we looking for?
