Robert Half's client is currently seeking a talented professional to join their team at their Saint Paul headquarters in the role of a Compensation and Benefits Analyst. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities for the Compensation and Benefits Analyst:
Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans
Contribute to the development of employee-focused benefits strategies.
Handle employee data and monthly bill reconciliations for group plans.
Liaise with external vendors to ensure smooth benefits administration
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Compensation Analysis:
Conduct regular industry research to maintain their competitive compensation packages
Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate job roles and recommend salary structures
Assist in developing incentive and bonus programs aligned with company objectives
Analyze compensation data to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Policy and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Participate in audits related to compensation and benefits programs.
Maintain adherence to COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA provisions.
Keep documentation accurate and up-to-date.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize HR information systems to collect, analyze, and present compensation and benefits data
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR and other departments
Interpret data to identify program improvement opportunities.
Employee Engagement and Assistance:
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
Communicate policy changes and provide guidance to employees as needed.
Assist in preparing training materials and communications.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications for the Compensation & Benefits Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of proven experience in a Compensation and Benefits Analyst role.
Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including market analysis.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite; familiarity with data analysis tools is advantageous.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with internal stakeholders.
