Open to residents of Cumberland County.

　　Duties: Under supervision, performs a variety of field and office work involved in community-oriented public health programs and assists them in obtaining support services, or makes referrals to other agencies; does other related duties as required. The position will be dedicated to working in the Childhood Lead Exposure Prevention program as well as assisting with duties related to the Public Health Nursing program.

　　*This is a grant-funded position; position may be eliminated if grant funds become unavailable.

　　Knowledge & Abilities: Knowledge of the procedures, policies, programs, and resources of local community agencies after a period of training. Knowledge of the problems encountered by community-oriented programs. Ability to identify the needs of residents and the community as a whole and to identify resources to meet those needs. Ability to work harmoniously with associates, families, individuals, and other agencies or organizations. Ability to collect and make correct appraisals of factual information regarding individuals and families. Ability to prepare clear, sound, accurate, and informative reports. Ability to maintain essential records and files. Ability to utilize various types of electronic information systems used by the agency.
