DescriptionCommunity Resource Representative - Doula Program - Swedish First Hill campus*Bilingual Representative needed with fluency in Spanish or PortugueseSCHEDULE: 0.75 FTE, averaging 30 hours per week. There is flexibility to this schedule. Needs are on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday. Shift times can vary between 8-10 hours. Operating hours are 7a-6p PST.The Cultural Navigator role is designed to address disparities in healthcare. Cultural Navigators are Community Healthcare Workers with understanding and knowledge of the local community. The Cultural Navigator builds well-being in the language of the target community by bridging the gap between groups, individuals, and healthcare providers. Community education, outreach, identification of barriers to care, and educating healthcare providers in culturally appropriate delivery of care are key activities.
