The Purpose of Your Role
The Community Resource Coordinator will provide education to potential referral sources to ensure that they feel comfortable in referring clients for treatment. An effective Community Resource Coordinator will learn about the various diagnoses we treat and effectively communicate how we do so to achieve unparalleled results. They will spend at least 75% of their time creating new referral relationships while maintaining established relationships. The Community Resource Coordinator will set activity and admissions goals and create plans to achieve those goals. Weekly reporting and accountability is essential as is maintaining all referral contacts and activity up to date in our CRM/Salesforce. World-class community resource relationships are built on honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity. This role will work 5 days per week 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
Develops weekly and monthly activity goals including admissions goals and creates achievable plans to reach goalsCreates and maintains excellent record keeping of referral sources activity and community resource effortsEnsures that their time is spent managing their territory and referral sources that produce the highest efficiency and resultsMaintains and exceeds the target number of face-to-face interactions, contacts, and admits for the assigned marketIdentifies decision makers in the target markets, reaches out to establish key relationships, and documents meaningful activity in the contact databaseConducts initial screening to ensure program level of care eligibilityConducts face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and create community partnershipsProvides program education through lectures, presentations, events, meetings, or other necessary communications with the community and providores to generate referralsManages assigned strategic relationships, ensures continuous and effective communication with contacts, and responds to all inquiries, requests, and referrals in a timely mannerMaintains a pipeline of potential partnerships with organizations such as hospitals, inpatient treatment, primary care providers, psychiatrists, and behavioral health providersLearns and practices de-escalation techniques (may occasionally be exposed to high-stress environments)Adheres to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedSkills and Expertise You Have:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field, or additional 3-5 years of experience in the industry1+ years of experience in sales, customer relations, or referral generation effortsActive book of businessHistory of achieving goals in the area of referral generation efforts in behavioral healthActive book of businessProven ability to teach, train and effectively communicate programs features and benefits as well as how we treat various diagnoses effectivelyHistory of creating strong relationships of trust with referentsLocal travel for community resource efforts (drives a personal vehicle for work purposes)Relationship managementAbility to create new sourcesEvent planning experienceProficient knowledge of computers including, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer softwareAccurate and efficient electronic data entryMust be punctual and maintain excellent attendanceOrganized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes job responsibilitiesindependentlyMultitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skillsThrives in a changing work environment including inside, outside, and loud noise levelPrefer ed Qualifications:
