This Position is for a Collections Specialist (FT for an established, reputable retail-based company) with a company located in Ocean Springs.

　　  If so, Blossman Gas seeks qualified applicants to submit for consideration toward an open Collections Specialist position at our Home Office in Ocean Springs, MS.

　　Duties And Responsibilities: The Collections Specialist will work closely with the company's Credit & Collections Team and retail branch locations to minimize accounts receivables and ensure quality credit practices.

　　  The main duties include serving as a live representative on past due accounts through regular, daily phone calls as well as written communication (letters and email). There will be regular discussions with past due customers regarding their cause of delinquency and then resolve with a payment schedule in a friendly, caring way.

　　  Regular processing of credit card and ACH payments including posting confirmations to accounts will be needed.

　　  This position will communicate regularly with our retail branch personnel to ensure proper communication and customer care.

　　Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Pass pre-employment screening including background check and drug screen. A minimum of 2-3 years of telephone collections experience preferred. Good knowledge of finance collection policies and procedures, fair debt collection practices, and related state collections laws preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills are required. Ability to manage multiple priorities; work in a fast-paced environment; learn new technologies as needed with a growing company. Be friendly, flexible, and results-oriented. Prior experience with MS Office.
