This long-term contract / temporary role is for a Collections Specialist who wants to work in the Holland, Ohio area.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act

　　Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

　　Manage all billing and reporting activities in line with deadlines

　　Ensure the processing of payments

　　Document all customer payments to the right reports

　　Process bankruptcy filings correctly when received

　　Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

　　Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Oversee and update customer files to ensure data consistency

　　Requirements - Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts

　　Strong communication and social skills

　　2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

　　Comprehensive knowledge of B2B collections

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Call Center Customer Service

　　General familiarity with Fast Paced Call Center

　　Foundational knowledge in Collections management

　　Proficiency in Commercial Collections

　　Knowledge of commercial collections

　　Practical knowledge of High Volume Call Center

　　Credit collections experience

　　Adeptness in call centers

　　Previous experience using accounting software
