Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist to join our team in the service industry, stationed in Boca Raton, Florida. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with processing credit applications, maintaining records, and addressing customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the processing of customer credit applications.

• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize skills in commercial collections and billing to effectively manage accounts.

• Notate software usage for documentation and tracking purposes.

• Engage in Business-to-Business (B2B) interactions for product sales.

• Ensure all tasks are completed within the specified working hours.

• Assist in catching up on overdue collections.

• Work collaboratively with the team to manage high volume workloads. Requirements • Proven experience in the service industry, preferably in the field of collections

• Strong knowledge and understanding of billing collection procedures

• Proficiency in commercial collections

• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to deal with customers

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Solid understanding of relevant legal requirements

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases

• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think critically

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
