Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to be a part of our team in the Waste, Refuse Environmental Waste Management industry, stationed in Marlboro, Massachusetts. This role involves handling commercial collections and resolving disputes, along with customer service and billing collection. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the collection of commercial debts to minimize outstanding dues.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for tracking and reporting on collection activities and customer account statuses.

• Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries and disputes related to billing and collections.

• Regularly monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions as required.

• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.

• Assist in the billing process, ensuring all charges are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.

• Work closely with other teams and departments to resolve disputes and clarify billing inaccuracies.

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding collections.

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading detail oriented publications. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to resolve disputes effectively

• Experience in waste, refuse and environmental waste management industry
