Description Robert Half is looking for a veteran Collections Specialist with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. This role is with a company in the Banking field. This long-term contract / temporary role is for a Collections Specialist who wants to work in the Denver, Colorado area. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

　　Register all customer payments to the correct reports

　　Oversee and update customer files to ensure data consistency

　　Act as liaison in maintaining quality service to the customer and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

　　Correctly process bankruptcy filings when received

　　Administer all billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines

　　Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment

　　Process Payments

　　Yield to all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations Requirements - Prior experience working with accounting software

　　Ability to analyze and make decisions on customer accounts

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

　　2+ years of prior high volume collections experience

　　Collections experience desired

　　Credit collections experience

　　Knowledge of Audit Prep

　　Yardi experience preferred

　　Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
