　　Responsibilities

　　Diagnose problems with CNC mills and lathes including: electromechanical, operational, electrical/electronic and overall equipmentproblems

　　Troubleshoot, install, service, rebuild and perform maintenance asnecessary

　　Analyze error codes and determine requirements for repair

　　Repair and replace drives as necessary

　　Recommend additional services or the purchase of additional equipment

　　Determine, order and replace parts as necessary

　　Locate and schedule outside technical assistance as required

　　Requirements

　　Experience with Siemens controllers

　　Experience with G-code

　　Experience on homing machine

　　Experience with linear scales

　　Ability to read wiring diagrams

　　Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis Cincinnati profilers and mills

　　CNC machine tool troubleshooting and repair experience

　　Knowledge of changing spindles and ball screws

　　Hands-on knowledge of volt meters, oscilloscopes and othertest/measuring equipment

　　Ability to read and understand direction and procedure manuals

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with andmaintain effective relationships

　　Any experience with Servos, motion controls and PLCs is a plus
