As the 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC Machinist you will be responsible for taking jobs from 3D model or blueprints and produce finished parts.
Responsibilities:
• 3, 4 and 5 Axis setup tooling, in process basic inspection, finishing to completion to inspected parts.
• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material
specifications
• Maintains part specifications by adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements specified by the
manufacturer’s instructions.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the team
Required Skills/Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years machining experience necessary or equivalent
• Tooling speeds and feeds selection responsibility
• 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC operation
• Utilization of GD&T standards
• Interpersonal skills required to work with others from various disciplines and cultures.
• Strong organizational skills to communicate technical data to colleagues and leadership
• Must be willing and able to work day and afternoon shifts as required to meet demands and work with a sense of urgency.
• Strong level of analytical thinking
• The successful candidate will have to successfully pass a driver’s abstract and background
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience with both horizontal and vertical CNC machines
• CNC lathe programming and operation experience will be a plus
• Fanuc, Haas, Hurco, Fadal and Siemens controller experience will be a plus
