This includes machine programming, set-up, and operation in response to customer orders. In this regard, Machining personnel help ensure the effective implementation of Quality System processes & procedures to prevent non-conforming products from being sent to customers.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Execute assignments per Job Travelers and customer-provided technical documents.Develop operation, and as required, set-up and/or programming skills on assigned machines.Consult with Supervisor to provide subject-matter hands-on expertise in response to customer inquiries and requests.Master the knowledge of all tooling used for machining, permanent or disposable, to maintain adequate inventories that maintain process capabilities.Ensure products meet customer's specified requirements.Other work-area-specific and/or general company duties, as assigned.Duties may include:

　　Using CNC programmable milling machines (horizontal & vertical), lathes (turret & conventional), tree mills, and non-programmable powered mills, lathes, grinders (surface, cylindrical & pedestal), drills, boring, tapping, threading, and honing machines and non-powered hand tools.Reading blueprints, drawings, Job Travelers and Inspection Reports.Program CNC machines, including creating & revising programs as well as loadingprograms into the machines.Set-up and operate CNC programmable machines, including getting tools & fixturing.Set-up and operate non-programmable machines, including getting tools & fixturing.powered machines/equipment/toolspowered hand toolsnon-powered toolsInspect all stages of production designated per technical drawing specifications.Read & understand all gage dials, readouts, etc. associated with machining.Count parts produced during a work shift and record quantities produced .Carrying out preventive maintenance activities as required.checking & maintaining oil/lubricant levelschecking & maintaining proper greasingchecking & maintaining clean coolant and filtersKeep accurate records (time cards, time per operation, Inspection Reports, andrevisions suggested for Methods of Manufacturing [MOMs]).Know how to teach subordinates:inspection skills and documenting of inspection resultsmachine set-up, including getting & installing the right tools, and making fixturesmachine operationmachine programmingto place tooling re-orders so enough stock is on-hand to maintain process capabilitypreventive maintenance required before machine operationgenerating and keeping/filing/forwarding of proper recordsRun more than one piece of machinery/equipment simultaneously as required.Be "Quality advocate" while training and managing employees to ensure product specifications are clearly understood and carried out.Perform all work in a safe & responsible manner.use both hands as necessary to safely operate equipmentreport all accidents, no matter how minorAddress and satisfactorily resolve or help resolve customer concerns/complaints/issues/problems/inquiries.Participate in Quality System management reviews, as required, toreport effectiveness of the Quality Systemhelp define direction to maintain & improve the Quality SystemContribute data for statistical techniques applied for continuous improvement.Requirements:

　　10 or more years of CNC Machine experienceLathe and Mill experienceBlueprint reading experience.Advanced setup and programming skills are a plus.Understanding of modern manufacturing techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Total Quality Management a plusDrug TestCriminal Background Check
