CNC Machine Operator Position Overview:
Operate CNC Swiss Screw machines and inspect finished parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)Change tools.Make offsets.Load material and remove scrap.Fill out various paperwork.Simultaneous operation of multiple machines.Minor troubleshooting.Part inspection.Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):Proven experience with lathe/mill turning machines.Knowledge and experience with Swiss Screw Machines is preferred. (Tornos, Star, Citizen)Experience using the Fanuc control preferred.
Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols).Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.)Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude.Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.Ability to read and write English.

CNC trainee-one year experience as an operator/certificate in machining.$18- $20 an hour.
CNC Machine Operator level 2-5$20-40 an hour.
Soft skills:mechanically inclined.blueprint reading.measuring tools-micrometers, calipers, high-gages.
