CNC Lathe Setup Machinist

$25.17-$26.78/hr. DOE + $3.00 night shift differential and weekly attendance bonus!!!

Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Machinist looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success? If so, this position is for you!! An expanding Machine and Tool Company is looking for an experienced Night shift CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to join their team. The CNC Lathe Setup Machinist is responsible for quality parts produced on our Doosan, Takamaz, and Mazak lathes.

Responsibilities:

Understand programs and set up CNC Lathe machines using programs generated by the engineering dept.

Prepare all tools, and gauging needed for machining operations.

Install jaws, tooling, downloads program, enter offsets, and prove out machine.

Inspect first run piece and make offsets as required, spot check succeeding pieces.

Perform other associated duties with machines, programs, tooling and training of operators as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC Lathe machines.

Working knowledge of micrometers, gauging, and comparator. Familiarity with Facau Controls a plus.

Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings/readings.
