What you will do:
Design/Create
Design, or collaborate with designers, to produce training solutions that meet the requirements of both learners and stakeholders.
Create detailed design documents, which requires the person to derive primary and secondary course objectives, build measurement and evaluation tools, plan learning activities, identify opportunities for performance support, and determine content needs.
Education Bachelor's Degree Education, Instructional Technologies, Communications, Technology related field, or other relevant field. 4 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree accepted. Req Experience 3 Years Experience building web-based courses, curricula, and/or programs to include 3 years experience with Learning Management Systems. Req and
3 Years Experience using design software applications. Pref Licenses and Certifications Other professional instructional design certification Upon Hire Pref Skills Knowledge of leading adult learning principles and approaches to development (i.e., ADDIE). Strong analytical skills; ability to solve complex problems; highly developed listening and verbal communications skills; excellent time management and organizational skills. Functional knowledge of industry standard eLearning development tools (Examples include Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360). Strong familiarity with LMS technologies. Ability to research and actively seek opportunities to implement the latest tools and approaches to efficient learning, including social media, rapid eLearning development, accelerated learning techniques, etc. Expertise with software configurations and problem solving methods needed to diagnose and resolve web technology problems. Position requires some design sensibilities, mixed with a fascination for technology, an obsession with learning, and an innate drive to share what you know.
