  Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a CNA/Nurse Assistant to join our incredible nursing team.

  As a CNA/Nurse Assistant, you will work under the supervision of the RN/LPN, performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

  About this Position: This position will be working on our Transitional Observation Unit located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

  There are varying shifts available with varying starts times. This position is geared towards nursing students to allow for flexibility in scheduling.

  About the Unit : The Transitional Observation Unit will care for patients who need additional observation to rule out chest pains or outpatient status patients. It is a fast-paced, independent work environment with strong leadership and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training. Our ideal candidate is adaptive to change, invested in self-driven learning, and a team player.

  License and Certification:

  Basic Life Support for Healthcare provider's certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.Education:

  Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho or maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing or complete the Trinity Health Nurse Assistant Program.Colleagues of Saint Alphonsus Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout SAHS and Trinity Health.
