Job Description

　　Our Engineer:

　　Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybridcloud, and/or onprem deployment models.

　　Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software.

　　May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.

　　May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.

　　Qualifications

　　Qualifications required to be successful:

　　BSc or higher degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field

　　Proficiency in C#/Python programming language

　　Experience in software/firmware validation, validation methods and practices

　　Experience in automated validation and processes

　　Good spoken and written English

　　Ability to work in a team as an active participant

　　Effective cross-team cooperation in a multinational environment

　　Willingness to learn new topics, improve own skillset, influence processes to increase team efficiency

　　The following will be considered an advantage:

　　Familiar with C/C++ programming language

　　Deep knowledge about Windows and Linux operating systems

　　Experience with hardware/software interactions, embedded firmware and real-time operating systems

　　Skills in concurrent programming in a multi-task environment

　　Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)

　　Basic understanding of HW design

　　This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
