  JOB SUMMARY

  This job is responsible for supporting the financial analysis efforts of teams migrating their applications to various cloud environments. This role will support the finance team in delivering highly communicative and economic support to their customers as they analyze their cloud consumption. In this role you will measure, monitor, and analyze the usage of our internal Cloud customers and assist in budgeting/reporting of that cloud consumption.

  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  Monitor cloud consumption in detail, and assist in the reporting of cloud consumption and utilization to business owners.

  Conduct audits and analysis of cloud optimization efforts, and create recommendations for rightsizing and cloud resource reservations.

  Aid in the forecasting of cloud consumption for new projects migrating or being developed in various cloud environments.

  Conduct variance analysis of cloud consumption to forecasted consumption, highlighting deviations and making budget recommendations as required.

  Aid in the development of Cloud FinOps policy and guidelines within the business.

  Various special projects supporting cloud analysis.

  Other duties as assigned or requested.

  EXPERIENCE

  Required

  3 years of cloud optimization experience and knowledge of cloud resources and pricing

  3 years of experience conducting financial analysis within an operating expense model

  Pay Range Minimum:

  $57,700.00

  Pay Range Maximum:

  $106,700.00

  Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
