Tell me more about this opportunity.Position Overview: This position is responsible for the accurateprocessing, closing, funding and servicing of transactions secured byreal estate properties. Closings are expected to be completed inaccordance with regulations, policies and procedures. EssentialFunctions: * Follows established organizational policies and proceduresto ensure transactions meet legal compliance with lending laws andregulations. * Coordinates on-site and off-site closings with internaland external clients and executes the closing transaction with clientsby explaining all forms, answering client questions and securingappropriate signatures on all documents, as needed. May perform witnessclosings. * Reviews title insurance commitments, deeds, real estatetitle documents, Uniform Commercial Code filings, fixture filings, andother related documents to confirm the organization\'s collateral lienposition. Confirms legal documents required to close a transaction andparties required to sign each legal document. * Work with LegalDepartment and Title Review teams on collateral related documents, suchas consents, subordinations, and contract assignments, as needed. Draftssupplemental loan closing documents when necessary. * Works closelywith internal and external clients to set up, organize, verify and closemortgage loans, short-term loans and large transactions for all businessunits serving the organization\'s clients. Minimum Qualifications &Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Associate\'s degree inaccounting, business administration, legal, agriculture or related fieldOR combination of education and experience sufficient to perform theessential functions of the job. * Previous years of related workexperience; prefer title or legal experience. * Closing Agent License;Insurance Producer License preferred (or ability to obtain within twelvemonths). * Commissioned as a Notary Public for the state (or ability toobtain within three months). May include e-notary. * Working knowledgeof loan approval processes and requirements, personal property securitydocuments, real estate, legal, banking, security requirements and titleinsurance. * Working knowledge of legal descriptions and collateraldocuments to gather appropriate information for document preparation. *Basic accounting and mathematical skills to calculate data, reconcilefunds and determine payoffs. * Skill in processing complex, detailedinformation in an accurate and thorough manner. * Effectiveinterpersonal, oral and written communication and client service skills.* Effective organizational and time management skills. * Computerskills, including Microsoft Office applications and programs and/orother systems needed to perform functions of the role (Webex and Videoconferencing). * Ability to work with a wide variety of internal andexternal clients. * Ability to multi-task with tight deadlines, in afast-paced, team environment. * Valid driver\'s license.
