Job Description:
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly motivated individual interested in starting a career as a Clinical Service Representative II in our rapidly growing PM&R program at the University of Florida.
The Clinical Service Representative II will plan and carry out a variety of complex administrative and clinical tasks requiring competence and skill in executive procedures including planning, organizing and coordinating work assignments.
Job Duties Include:
Coordinating clinic dates, surgery dates, and other administrative dates to ensure that the attending physician’s clinical and administrative commitments are scheduled smoothly. Adjust clinics and preform template creation and changes when necessary.
Maintaining appointment calendars for the attending physicians, scheduling meetings and conferences independently. Responsible for tracking their BRE account to ensure each faculty and mid-level stay within the set budget.
Arranging and scheduling official travel for the attending physician. Makes reservations for hotel accommodations and conference registration. Preparing and submitting all necessary forms in advance.
Serving as the point of contact for faculty onboarding, creating new employee packets and assisting with the coordination of provider hires including scheduling group interviews and travel.
Receiving and screening incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence for the attending physicians concerning patient referrals.
Coordinating with each faculty and mid-level their renewal of Florida License, DEA, professional academic societies, and Shands credentialing in order for their appointments to remain active. Maintain awareness of expiration dates and importance of renewals.
Miscellaneous duties as requested to ensure the timely completion of tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Expected Salary:
$19/HR
Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and two years of appropriate office experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Experience in a healthcare setting
KNOWLEDGE
Familiarity with administrative support responsibilities to provide professional-level assistance effectively/proactively
Familiarity with collecting and preparing data analyses
SKILLS
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrate project management skills
ABILITIES
Capable of working under pressure and producing within deadlines
Ability to prioritize own work and proceed with minimum supervision
